LASER COMBAT GAMES

You've checked out the web site, and rounded up the troops for a day of Combat Games.....you're wondering what the
    day will be like.....

9.30am and you all arrive to Killary Adventure Company, in Leenane, Co. Galway - home of Laser Combat Games! You're
introduced to your Mission Director who brings you down to the Head Quarters. At HQ, everyone is given Camouflage Suits, and
war paint to smear all over your faces. The adrenaline is pumping and you're ready to get out and do battle!

At The Laser Zone, Guns and Sensors are issued and a short safety and equipment briefing is given. The Mission Director tells
you exactly how the guns function and what the objectives of the scenarios are that you will play. Your Guns come equipped
either with Machine Gun Fire Mode or Grenade Fire Mode and Red Dot Scopes to make it easy to aim at the enemy! Your mission
director will load up your gun with enough lives to get you through the first game. Players shoot an invisible and harmless
infrared beam. When hit the gun screams out in pain "OUCH!" and a light in the sensor flashes for three seconds (sensor is
attached to your hat). When you run out of points (between 1 and 9 depending on the mission) the gun screams "ARRRGH!"
and the word DEAD appears on the display of your gun. Your gun is now unable to fire, so you can't cheat and play on 'cause
    you're dead!

From 10am right until 1pm, you can expect to play several different scenarios and games, depending on your groups ability to
stay alive and keep going - the clever you are at outwitting the enemy, the longer your missions!

At 1pm, you break for lunch and you head up to The Summit Bar in the K2 accommodation (5 minute walk) - here you can refuel and get
    ready for part 2!

2pm and its time to go again! For the afternoon, you and your team will be doing clay pigeon shooting.  After having
the whole morning to perfect your aim and improve your reflexes you should get a 100% accuracy with the 25 clays during the clay pigeon shoot.

Unfortunately, at 5pm, The Mission Director blows his whistle to wrap up the day so that you can get showered, changed and on
   the road!

For those of you who are staying with us, you can  relax in the bar before your dinner. After dinner
you can choose to either stay in the bar, head down to the village or jump in a taxi to Westport for pubs and clubs!
